Wedding Baby Sitting Service

Nanny Link Ltd has widened their services to offer a professional Wedding Baby Sitting Service, which provides high quality child care for your special day.

The Wedding Baby Sitting Service is a specialist service that allows you to organise your special day confident in the knowledge that those guests who have children are able to attend.

Our experienced, qualified and friendly nannies provide hours of fun and activities, allowing your guests to enjoy the function.

• All our nannies are CRB checked, personally interviewed and referenced checked
• All our nannies are First Aid Trained, and hold professional childcare qualifications
• Our nannies adhere to OFSTED standards to make sure that all of the children under their supervision receive superior care.

At Nanny Link Ltd we require the numbers of children and their ages that are attending the event, due to the importance of staffing the event correctly. Staff to children ratios are as follows:

• Children under the age of two years: one adult to two children.
• Children aged two to three years old: one adult to four children
• Children aged three to eight years old: one adult to eight children

The standards that follow represent minimum space allocated per child:

• Children under two years old = 3.5 square metres
• Children aged two years old = 2.5 square meters
• Children aged three to eight years old = 2.3 square metres

What does the service include?

Nanny Link Ltd will provide a safe and fun filled child friendly environment and aged related activities for children aged 0 to 10 yrs+. All you need to do is provide us with a suitable room at your venue (preferably with toilets close by), furnished with tables and chairs and leave the rest to us.

We will provide the following activities:

• Non-messy arts and crafts, colouring and drawing
• Board games, card games, books and puzzles
• Construction toys such as Duplo and Lego
• Dressing up clothes and imaginary play
• Cars and garages, dolls and pushchairs
• Musical and party games, dancing and singing sessions
• Biscuit decorating
• Video’s

We do not provide any outdoor toys, bikes, scooters, bouncy castles or indoor climbing frames, but e are happy to speak to companies who offer additional services i.e. bouncy castles etc, if you request us to do so, on your behalf.

Our Nannies will bring the activities with them, and will assemble them to make an exciting and inviting play area. We need to 30 mins to set up and 30 mins to clear away afterwards. So if you hired us for two hours, it would work out as three hours booking.

We are happy to supervise children’s meals, as well as supervision on bouncy castles, bikes, scooters, and outdoor toys.

Nanny Link are happy for you to collect your children at any time, all we ask is that they follow our procedures for booking children in and out with the supervisor to ensure child safety.

All we ask you to provide is food and drinks for the children (if applicable) and soft drinks for our staff, and a lunch if the nannies are working all day. We will provide all the toys and activities to keep the children entertained and out from under your feet. Parents might want to bring their child’s favourite teddy or security blanket to help them settle in, but leave the rest to us.

Areas covered

As there are two branches of Nanny Link Ltd, the Head Office in Sidcup and the new branch in Sevenoaks, our service is able to cover a wide area.

The Sidcup branch covers South East London and Kent which includes Bromley, Chistlehurst, Blackheath, Greenwich, Dartford, Gravesend, Sidcup and other areas. The Sevenoaks branch covers Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and Ashford, Maidstone and Canterbury and surrounding areas.

Our fees

* These rates apply purely to areas as above. Any requests outside these areas please ask for a quote.

(Rates will be time and a half for Bank Holidays)

We will provide the minimum of three Nannies, one of them will be a supervisor.
