The agency has been created to offer a comprehensive and cost effective service, which considers and fulfils the differing needs of children, parents and nannies. Our first priority in running the agency is to do a

Our practice is:

1. To interview all nannies personally - which takes about one hour.

2. We confirm the nannies identity with checks such as a passport, or driving license.

3. Confirm the nannies qualification by seeing the original certificate we can, with your help, to ensure the safety of your children. We have first hand experience of the important relationship between family and nanny; this knowledge is at your service in developing a long and happy relationship between all parties.

4. Check on their education and work history.

5. Follow up our own references - we do not accept letters handed to us by the nanny themselves.

6. Request a medical history and criminal record declaration.

7. On success of placement with your family our service continues for you and the nanny. 

Please check the agencies standards as well as the nannies - not all agencies follow our practice!

      Paying Agency fees

Many parents feel that by going via the internet they will save costs on an agency.  However a good agency will be able to offer a pool of nannies that have been interviewed and checked.

This should be considered as an investment in your childs wellbeing and a good agency will be supportive to both parties after the event of the nanny starting.

 Many of our nannies have stayed in their posts for years- some until the children are leaving school!! 

Please be aware that internet sites will not check the nannies out or offer the service a reputable nanny agency can.
